Federal Government.

Since 1995 Bechtle has offered its own e-commerce platform free of charge, which makes it easier for public sector customers to place and keep track of their IT orders. The online platform also offers additional advantages such as asset management.

News.

The federal bureau for information management and information technology (IT-AmtBw) of the German military has awarded Bechtle AG with a framework agreement for IT components and services. The contract involves PCs, monitors, printers and other peripherals, as well as servers. The scope of services also includes the planning, installation, set-up and operation of IT networks (clients/servers).

Since 2009, countless governmental agencies – including those responsible for the interior, finance, justice, commerce and technology, among others – have taken advantage of Bechtle's range of services. The framework agreement “IT-Plattform - 2./3. Rechnerebene,” signed 17 March 2009, has a duration of four years.

State Governments.

Each of the German federal states relies on a Bechtle systems house for its public administration. In this manner, we provide an IT equivalent to the centralised decision-making authority of the federal states. In addition to product information portals, we offer the state governments a full spectrum of products for e-procurement, with special prices for the public sector.

Bechtle supports the growing standardisation of IT workplaces through IT lifecycle management. In many states we've put our standardisation plan into practice with a comprehensive 'no-worries' package for IT workplaces. Bechtle also regularly monitors and analyses government agency portals such as D115 and http://en.justiz.de/index.php, in order to be able to cover the real needs of government agencies with respect to IT infrastructures.

Bechtle wins tender with Baden-Württemberg.

Bechtle has contracted with Baden-Württemberg's administration to supply new IT hardware, valued at approximately ten million euros, over a duration of 12 to 18 months. Bechtle offers on-site services until February 2018.
