Bechtle took full IT responsibility for the city of Würselen's educational initiative "Lemmon" (Learning with Modern Media Online) . The technological requirements of the project included PCs, notebooks, servers, network components and school administration software. In many ways, the Lemmon project reflects the current challenges facing educational policy-makers.

Once again, the city of Nuremberg has accepted Bechtle's bid for its PC/TFT framework agreement. According to this agreement, Bechtle will supply 5,500 Acer PCs and 2,500 Lenovo 22" TFTs over a period of three years.
