Bechtle AG to close 2011 with new records
Bechtle AG has achieved its ambitious growth targets for 2011. Preliminary figures suggest record revenues amounting to some 2 bn euros, an increase of nearly 16 per cent compared to 2010. Earnings before taxes (EBT) climbed by around 39 per cent to 86 million euros. This represents a significant increase in the EBT margin to 4.3 per cent from 3.6 per cent in the previous year.

Bechtle AG has expanded its Software Marketing & Application Solutions business segment by acquiring Redmond Integrators GmbH, Bochum. Founded in 2007, the company specialises in solutions involving the high-growth SharePoint technology.

Bechtle Offenburg and Rösch join forces
Bechtle's IT system house in Offenburg strengthens its position by acquiring the long-standing IT system house Rösch GmbH. Bechtle has taken over Rösch's four-person team, as well as the infrastructure maintenance agreements with its existing customers.

Bechtle is Fujitsu Partner of the Year
In the fiscal year 2010/2011, Bechtle was the world's first Fujitsu partner to pass the 100 million euro mark with Fujitsu products. In recognition of this accomplishment, the IT service and trading company was named Partner of the Year. On 18 November 2011, Jörg Brünig, Senior Director Channel Germany at Fujitsu, presented Michael Guschlbauer, COO IT System House & Managed Services at Bechtle AG, with the award.

Bechtle AG: Substantial upsurge in revenues and earnings in Q3.
In the third quarter, the business performance of Bechtle AG continued to benefit from the good investment climate in the IT industry. The persistently high demand furnished the basis for the continuation of the growth recorded in the prior quarters. Year on year, the revenues in the period from July to September 2011 increased by 16.5 per cent to 497.3 million euros (prior year: 426.9 million euros). Executive Board expects a record year.

Bechtle and the University Hospital of Würzburg adopt in-memory technology
A unique in-memory solution allows rapid database retrievals by eliminating hard drives with rotating parts. Data are now stored in memory close to the CPU. Retrieving data through the hospital's information system (based on SAP R/3) and the i.s.h.med clinical workplace system now takes place virtually in real time.
