The Silex DS-600 is a USB 2.0/3.0 device server to use USB devices securely and easily in traditional and also virtual network environments. Nearly all kinds of USB devices can be easily integrated into a network and shared. All Silex USB device servers also come with a print server function and support isochronous data transfer mode, which allows devices that require continuous real-time data transfer, such as USB cameras or speakers, to be used in a network environment. Data transfer rates of up to 100 MB/s enable, for example, the connection of a USB-RDX system or a USB hard drive for data backup.
