Elke Reichart, Chief Digital Officer, TUI Group: The rise of the antiboss? Leadership in flux.

On 1 December 2020, the Bechtle GmbH IT system house Dortmund opens a branch office in the university town of Siegen. Here, employees and those who want to become employees can expect completely redesigned, state-of-the-art office space.

With more than 60 speakers on three digital stages, virtual booths, video talks, chats and breakout sessions, the motto of Bechtle Competence Day on 1 October 2020—Empowering your future—was spot on. And now it’s time to ReLive.

I have been working at Bechtle in Logistics & Service GmbH in the area of personnel and organizational development since 01.12.2020. On my career path, I have become acquainted with various companies, their cultures, and leadership and working styles. My experience ranges from medium-sized and regional organizations to Dax corporations. I am a certified trainer, NLP master and systemic coach. I also have additional degrees in human resource and organizational development and leadership skills. My drive is to explore new ways of working and learning, to generate knowledge and to put it into practice in a targeted way. I had my first contact with Working Out Loud (WOL) in 2019. I see WOL as a valuable method to enable people as well as organizations to work on sustainable issues and to generate solutions for the future together through networked work.

She is involved in numerous projects to offer employees opportunities to better develop their potential, which means she is constantly having the think outside the box. Her current focus is on new target groups and alternative career paths.

Marc and Georg are currently in their fifth semester studying management and technology with a focus on digital technologies at the Technical University of Munich’s (TUM) Heilbronn campus. The pair have been writing their project work at Bechtle Digital Services since September with the aim of using digital data more efficiently. Miles Wittenbrock started out at Bechtle Bielefeld 11 years ago as an intern—and laid the foundation stone of his career. Intern, traineeship, permanent position, expert status and now leader. Miles’ career could not have gone more smoothly. Today, the 31-year old is responsible for a seven-strong team in the Modern Workplace department. From day one a team player, he knows that honest and transparent relationships with colleagues is the way to success.

Michael Hufelschulte works as an innovation manager at Bechtle, where he focuses on the methodical invention of digital business models. For 20 years he gained experience in the telecommunications industry, among other things as product manager eCommerce and press officer for digital topics and social media. He then spent 5 years in consulting, focusing on digital disruption and how it can be addressed by organisations using innovation methods such as Design Sprint and LEGO® Serious Play®.

Sabrina Engelhardt’s journey is characterised by change. Starting out as a vocational trainee, she now almost has her master’s degree—all while working at Bechtle. Over time, she has discovered her passion—working in marketing and developing campaigns.

Making the impossible possible, picking up where others leave off—these are the qualities that make Melanie Schüle stand out. She joined Bechtle 18 years ago and she has been Head of Bechtle Clouds since October 2018.

Since my studies in marketing and international business management, I have gained several years of professional experience in B2B marketing. Since 2020, I have been working in content management at Bechtle in Neckarsulm. There, I focus on the top issues and am the first contact person for the Modern Workplace topic area.

I am originally trained as a power system electronics technician and have completed a course of study as a technical computer scientist via the second educational path. I have been working in the computer industry for almost 38 years. Whether as a digital electronics engineer, networker, programmer, system specialist for network & security or in consulting - almost 38 years in the computer industry shape my experience and form the supporting pillars in my customer projects with a goal and success-oriented approach.

I am Maximilian Bickel and I work at the Systemhouse Karlsruhe.

My name’s Tim, I’m 22 and I’m currently in my third year of training to become an IT systems management assistant. I want my contributions to AZUBIT to give you some insight into my training and Bechtle as an employer. I will be telling you which departments you get to experience and how they are interconnected. My name is Moritz and I’m 19 years old. I started my training as an IT specialist for application development at Bechtle Neckarsulm in September 2020. By sharing these blog posts, I would like to give you an impression of my training and answer all questions related to IT and the interesting technologies that go along with it.

I’m Luca and I’m 22. I started my training to become an IT systems management assistant at Bechtle in September 2019. I’m Justine, I’m 21 years old and currently in my second year of training. I’ve been undergoing training to become an office manager with a focus on HR and accounting at Bechtle in Neckarsulm since September 2019. As an AZUBIT, I would love to share my daily work and experiences with you.

Moritz Dierberger’s Bechtle story begins in the spring of 2017. As a student, he does an internship at Bechtle Rottenburg and a little later comes back to work on his bachelor thesis. And a little later again segues right into building an all-new department. In the meantime, Moritz Dierberger acts as Business Development Manager.

After completing his training as a retail salesman, Timo Potocnik moved into the IT industry and found an exciting job at Siller as head of Customer Care. Timo is passionate about helping customers with digital transformation, creating new incentives for new technologies, and advancing cloud computing.

Saskia Kools joined HanseVision in 2021 as a Modern Workplace Consultant. Her focus topics revolve around Microsoft Modern Intranet and Collaboration applications, Microsoft Viva as well as the implementation of process digitalization solutions. She also leads trainings and shares interesting content from her topics on the HanseVision Blog and the Bechtle Blog.

Jens Käsbauer was bitten by the IT bug as youngster. His first steps were taken on the Atari 800 XL and 130 XE micro computers before moving into the professional world of application development and network technology. Later, he started in the marketing team at the Bechtle subsidiary ARP. Since 2019, he has been located at the Bechtle headquarters in Neckarsulm.
