Modern design: Inspired by runway trends, the Rose Gold version of the new XPS 13 debuts an authentic Arctic White woven glass fibre palm rest developed specifically for Dell. Our design team worked tirelessly to get the details just right—carefully crafted backlighting, UV- and stain-resistant coating to prevent yellowing over time and staining, and coordinated packaging and accessories.

Blazing fast performance: The Ultrabook is cut from a single block of aluminium, so it’s more durable than a machine that’s pieced together. The carbon fibre and woven glass fibre of the palm rest allow for maximum strength and minimal weight, and Corning® Gorilla® Glass 4 is twice as damage resistant compared to competitive products.

Cooler than ever: The XPS 13 is the first notebook built with GORE™ Thermal Insulation, which provides thermal conductivity levels lower than air in a thin, flexible format, to keep your notebook cool while it works hard. While the Gore insulation directs heat out of the device, dual fans and heat pipes further lower the temperature of your XPS, enabling greater performance in a thinner form factor.

State-of-the-art technology: The Thunderbolt™ 3 Type-C™ ports allow you to charge your notebook, connect to multiple devices (including support for up to two 4K displays) and enjoy data transfers up to 40 Gb/s.

Advanced docking: The XPS 13 can be used with the newest Dell docking solutions, featuring single-cable connections for power, Ethernet, audio and video. Add the optional Dell Thunderbolt™ Dock for faster data transfers and support for up to three Full HD displays or two 4K displays.

Improved camera location: Dell has created the world’s smallest HD webcam (only 2.25 mm) in the upper edge of the famous InfinityEdge display.

Revolutionary webcam construction: The new XPS 13 webcam isn’t just smaller—it’s also better. A new 4-element lens uses more elements than a typical webcam to deliver sharp video in all areas of the frame, while temporal noise reduction uses advanced noise reduction, significantly improving video quality, especially in dim lighting conditions. The lens is assembled with precise machinery to ensure all points of the image are in focus.

Use one-handed: The new variable torque hinge design allows easy opening with one hand. It also means that the screen is more stable, even when you are on the move or use the optional touch display.

Eco-logical.

Saving our seas: Recognised by CES with a “2018 Best of Innovation Award”, our black packaging trays are a step beyond recycled. Twenty-five percent of the material consists of ocean plastics collected from coastal areas, while the remaining 75% is made up of other recycled plastics.

Energy efficient: XPS 13 is ENERGY STAR® certified.

Smarter materials: Free of materials like cadmium, lead, mercury and some phthalates, and it’s also EPEAT® Gold registered* and BFR/PVC-free
