Starting out as an AZUBIT – AZUBIT Workshop 2020.

Even when applying to Bechtle, I thought about what it would be like to be a part of AZUBIT. Nearly two years later and with the first workshop behind me, I’m officially an AZUBIT! In this, my first blog, I’d like to tell you a little bit about the two-day workshop.

This year, a total of six new AZUBITS made up of trainees and students met up at Bechtle Platz 1 in Neckarsulm. This was a quite a trip for some as anyone can be an AZUBIT no matter which Bechtle location they are at.

As they final participants trickled into to the conference room, we were welcomed and introduced ourselves, sharing our expectations for the next two days. Most were hoping to get to know some of the older AZUBITS and learn something about what was coming up and we also wanted to know what exactly our work would be. During the course of the workshop, we met some of the other AZUBITS and, working on some ideas together, it quickly became clear what kind of tasks were likely to be waiting for us.

This includes writing blogs and designing and running the AZUBIT Instagram account to share information about the training and cooperative studies and also about Bechtle as an employer. This of course requires a lot of planning and creativity. Even in our first two days as AZUBITS, we were actively involved and allowed to develop ideas and implement our first projects.

In the evenings, we made our way together to a restaurant in Neckarsulm to end the day with some delicious food. On day two, AZUBIT Berivan gave us an introduction to photography providing us with lots of helpful tips on how to shoot great photos and videos for our blog and get creative. This was followed by photo shoot of us newbies individually and as a group before fortification from the Bechtle restaurant was needed.

We met together again that afternoon to set the AZUBIT 2020 goals. And we managed to achieve one of those straight away—the AZUBIT Instagram page now has 1000 followers!

Two really interesting days getting to know great people and collecting new experiences came to an end. I’m happy to be a part of AZUBIT and can’t wait to find out what’s around the corner.

I hope you enjoyed my first blog!
