Bechtle is a VMWare solution provider partner. At VMworld in October 2016, Roland König, managing director of the IT system house in Munich, answered keynote questions on cloud management, containers, IT automation and the software defined datacentre. The video on Bechtle's cloud solution was shown multiple times at VMworld.
3D digital recordings of rooms or even entire buildings are of use in many different industries – architecture, event management, cultural organisations and industrial plants to name but a few. With the aid of a 3D trolley, real.scan.service creates 360° scans. These can then be used to create anything from digital maps of airports to tours of exhibition centres. This huge amount of scanned data requires a great deal of storage and processing. This is where Bechtle comes in: Bechtle's Munich IT system house has developed a high performing cloud solution to process and manage data in a virtual data centre known as the Software Defined Datacentre (SDDC). Once processed, the data can be imported into a CAD programme or displayed on a web server.
