With Bechtle offices already serving customers in 14 European countries, we decided to reach beyond continental borders. Since 2014, we’ve forged an IT alliance with eleven solid partners on all continents, ensuring the same Bechtle quality around the world. Each partner in the Global IT Alliance (GITA) was carefully selected to meet our high service, process and portfolio standards.
Our shared goal: Provide customers with a full range of global services no matter where they’re located.
Since opening the doors of our first international subsidiary in 1996, Bechtle today operates in 14 European countries. In the meantime, we’ve added another aspect to our strategy by creating an alliance of – currently eleven – strong partners around the world. The purpose of the alliance is to meet the increasing demand by global businesses for comprehensive customer support around the world. In short, we’ve embarked on a promising journey.
Global companies don’t want to waste their time looking for individual IT providers for each of their international offices. We meet several times leading up to our cooperation agreements, allowing us to review our potential partner’s portfolio, online shop and service quality in depth. We plan to continue pursuing partnerships within and beyond Europe.
Founded in 1968, Atea has approximately 7,000 employees, 3,700 of which are consultants with over 7,500 certifications. The company’s 90 locations in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia provide IT infrastructure services and products from leading manufacturers. In 2017 the company earned approximately 3.5 billion euros in revenue. Atea is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

Headquartered in Mexico City, the company was first established in 1989 and today employs some 150 people. A partner of all leading manufacturers, its offering includes services for personal computing, data centre and printing solutions. In 2017, Compucentro generated revenues amounting to $50m.

Connection owns three sales companies: Connection Sales Corporation (Merrimack, New Hampshire), MoreDirect, Inc. (Boca Raton, Florida) and GovConnection, Inc. (Rockville, Maryland). Founded in 1982, it now employs over 2,500 people, and its 2017 revenues reached some US$2.9m. All three subsidiaries provide custom-configured systems with next-day service. Connection also operates an ISO 9001:2008-certified installation and distribution centre in Wilmington, Ohio. The company is listed on the US stock index NASDAQ.

The South African agency Empowerdex ranks Datacentrix as the most empowered ICT service provider on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE). Datacentrix Holdings Limited has approximately 1,200 employees, and its 2017 revenues totalled over 180 million euros (approximately 2.6 billion South African rands). For 17 years Datacentrix has offered IT infrastructure, IT solutions and managed services to private and public-sector customers. With an established reputation as an innovative solutions integrator, Datacentrix prides itself on its customer-centric approach, consistently high service delivery levels, and strong vendor and customer partnerships.

First established in 1977 and headquartered in Brisbane, the company has been listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, ASX, since 1997. Data#3 boasts extensive knowledge of technologies from all leading manufacturers—a solid foundation for its six solution segments: Hybrid IT and Cloud, Big Data and Analytics, Mobility, Business Consulting, Security, as well as IT Lifecycle Management. In 2017, the company turned in revenues amounting to AU$1.1 billion. Data#3 has a total 14 offices, data centres, as well as configuration and logistics centres across Australia.

Founded in the early 1950s, the company currently employs over 3,000 people and operates nine offices in China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Malaysia and serves customers in many parts of Asia – among these Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Maldives, Mongolia, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Through its strategic partnership with all major manufacturers, JOS offers a portfolio that includes IT infrastructure procurement, systems integration and services. In 2014 the company generated some 1.7 billion dollars in revenue.

Established in 1987, Lexel Systems Ltd. is still being led by members of the founding family today. The company employs some 160 people and strategically partners with key IT vendors. Lexel extensively covers the key economic regions of New Zealand and also Australia, offering IT infrastructure consulting, procurement and implementation services as well as after-sales support. The company also has specialists for large-scale IT projects. Its 2017 revenue totalled approximately 50 million dollars.

Microware was founded in 1984. A partner of all major manufacturers, the company specialises in the fields of Professional Services, Data Centre, Networking, Workplace, and Business Processes. A dedicated department provides specialised services to Microware’s international customers since 1999. In 2015, 130 employees achieved revenues amounting to US$50m.
