The award was presented in the category “Global Solution Provider” at the manufacturer’s partner conference in San Francisco.
“I am pleased to recognize this select group of partners who distinguished themselves at the global level in 2013,” states Dave O’Callaghan, Senior Vice President, Global Partner Organi-zation, VMware. “VMware is dedicated to educating and equipping our partners with the resources they need to master the new reality of the software defined enterprise that enables more agile delivery of IT services—for organizations of all sizes. Bechtle Aims for Even More Certifications.
With more than 600 certified employees (VSP, VTSP, VCP), Bechtle has more certified virtualisation specialists than any other VMware partner in the EMEA region. These sales, technical and consulting experts are qualified in all core competencies of the VMware portfolio. Particularly Bechtle’s virtualisation, cloud computing and software-defined data centre expertise has received mul-tiple awards. In response to the rising demand for private clouds and software-defined data centres, Bechtle is further expanding its expertise in these fields.
Bechtle became VMware’s first partner in Germany in 2003, holding first Enterprise Partner, then Premier Partner status. Following several EMEA distinc-tions, Bechtle has now been acknowledged for the third time as a member of the manufacturer’s global partner network.
