We are excited to announce that Microsoft 365 Copilot is now generally available on CSP for SMBs.

To empower every organisation to become AI-powered, Microsoft have made 3 key changes:

  • Microsoft have removed the 300-seat minimum purchase requirement for commercial plans.

  • Microsoft have removed the Microsoft 365 prerequisite for Copilot, making it available for Office 365 E3 and Office 365 E5 customers

  • Microsoft Copilot 365 is now generally available for SMBs. This means that Copilot is now available to all, from solo entrepreneurs to a 300-person organisation on CSP. If you are using either Microsoft 365 Business Standard or Business Premium, you can now purchase Microsoft 365 Copilot for $30 per user per month.

These announcements come just one month after Microsoft announced that they are making Copilot for Microsoft 365 generally available to education customers with Microsoft 365 A3 or A5 faculty, and they’re expanding that to include Office 365 A3 or A5 faculty with no seat minimum. While education licenses are not yet included in the CSP expansion announced on the 15th January 2024, we will share updates in the coming months, as and when Microsoft announce this.

We want to support you, our customers in your Copilot journey to ensure that you are mitigating the risks associated to AI. For further information, please ask your Bechtle account manager about our Microsoft 365 Copilot workshop.

As well as the workshop, we will also be hosting a Microsoft Copilot event at the Bechtle Chippenham office on Wednesday 21st February - more information on this will be coming soon!
