The Getac ZX80W is a compact, fully rugged tablet specifically designed for use in demanding outdoor environments, including logistics, energy services, industry, defence, and public-sector organisations with security responsibilities. Powered by a Qualcomm QCS6490 processor, Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC and 12 GB RAM, the device combines the mobility of a tablet with the full capabilities of a traditional Windows platform. The integrated AI engine, delivering up to 13 TOPS, also enables powerful edge AI applications directly on the device, allowing operation independently of a continuous cloud connection. The 8-inch LumiBond display with a brightness of 1 000 nits ensures readability even in direct sunlight. With capacitive multi-touch, operation is possible with fingers, gloves or an optional digitiser stylus. With its compact form factor and a weight of only 590 g, the ZX80W is suitable for extended use. Connectivity such as Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 as well as optional support for 4G LTE or 5G provides network connectivity. The IP67 and MIL-STD-810H certified design protects the device against water, dust, drops and extreme temperatures.
