AV experts from around the globe converged at InfoComm 2025 in Orlando, which took place there from 11 to 13 June. Their message was clear: High-end AV is going to get more scalable, more flexible, and more user-friendly. Security, sustainability and AI-powered collaboration were top of the agenda. But what does all of it actually mean for organisations who want to enhance their hybrid work experience?

Here are four highlights that are as relevant as they are quick to implement.

Man and woman in a digital meeting

1. HP Dimension and Google Beam for an in-the-same-room experience without headsets.

Formerly known as Project Starline, Google Beam works with HP Dimension hardware and takes advantage of AI and 3D imaging technology to power true-to-life video calls that let you ditch the VR glasses and other wearables.

It’s not an entirely new concept, and various manufacturers have been developing similar solutions for years. But this latest advancement shows they are still working on it at full steam.

The goal is to make hybrid collaboration even more natural, just like you’re literally sitting across from each other in the same room.

Is it ready for real-life use cases? Not quite, but it gives us a pretty good idea of where video communication is going. This is a technology we should keep an eye on, especially for mission-critical calls.

2. Dual Neat Centers for more room coverage and smart framing.

Neat is expanding audio and video coverage from the centre of the room using dual Neat Center deployments and smart framing with Neat Focus.

A dual Neat Center setup, along with a front-of-room device, can capture a room with up to 30 people. AI-enhanced cameras automatically capture the person who’s speaking, while Neat Focus allows you to simply define specific camera zones to spotlight speakers in those areas.

It’s this combination of innovative technology and user-friendly features that makes Neat a great choice for organisations who really want to maximise the hybrid meeting experience.

3. Barco ClickShare Hub Pro for wireless presenting and hybrid conferencing.

Barco’s ClickShare Hub Pro is a modular solution that builds on the new Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP). This means it works seamlessly with Microsoft Teams Rooms. A simple touch on the ClickShare panel starts your meeting, and you can share content on your screen wirelessly and in up to 4K quality no matter your video platform.

The ClickShare Hub Pro is ideal for organisations who want to simplify hybrid conferencing with user-friendly, scalable and secure Microsoft Teams Rooms solutions.

4. Shure ANX4 for smart scalability without extra hardware.

The new Shure ANX4 is a scalable, wireless microphone receiver that shows how easy it can be to add capacity without adding rack modules or configuration complexity. Instead, flexible licensing lets you simply add wireless channels through a software portal.

The compact receiver takes up just 1 U of rack space and supports up to 16 or 24 channels (Axient Digital / ULX-D), which makes it ideal for environments with limited space or where complex antenna setups can be a challenge. It really is a powerful solution for organisations with several conference rooms or with changing AV needs, and where simplicity and flexibility are a priority.

It’s all about scalability and user-friendliness.

In summary, InfoComm 2025 has made it clear where the AV market is headed.

  • From individual components to scalable platform solutions

  • From feature overload to a strong focus and user experience and adoption
  • From static room setups to flexible, AI-enhanced meeting spaces
