Bechtle acquires regional system house Tritec.

  • Reinforced market position in the Hohenlohe region
  • Tritec managing director to stay
  • Close collaboration with the Bechtle IT System House Neckarsulm

Neckarsulm/Künzelsau, 2 November 2015 – Bechtle AG has acquired Tritec GmbH, headquartered in Künzelsau, Germany. Founded in 1992, the IT system house employs 23 people and boasts a strong customer base in the Hohenlohe economic region. The company will be working closely with Bechtle’s system house in Neckarsulm. The purchase price and conditions remain confidential, as usual.

Tritec has been active in the region for 23 years, establishing itself as an IT infrastructure and service specialist for SMEs, regional authorities and public institutions. Its portfolio covers the majority of Bechtle IT system house services, providing customised, manufacturer-independent solutions for all aspects of IT infrastructure, server and PC systems, network technology, servers and storage, and data protection and security.

“The addition of Tritec brings us an established, regionally recognised team of expertly trained and regionally connected IT specialists. Not only is its portfolio similar to Bechtle’s, its values also correspond to ours. I am convinced that the joining of Bechtle and Tritec will result in a substantial advantage for us and our shared customers,” stated Michael Guschlbauer, Executive Board member responsible for the IT System House & Managed Services segment at Bechtle AG.

To ensure leadership continuity, Jochen Frank, the founder of Tritec, is to remain in his current position as Managing Director. Franz Steffl, Tritec’s Commercial Director for the past 20 years, will be leaving the company at the end of October for health reasons. “The decision to merge with Bechtle is not only an opportunity to continue growing in Künzelsau, it also effectively fills the void left by my esteemed colleague, Franz Steffl. Our customers and employees will benefit primarily from the added stability and security, as well as an expansion of our portfolio. We look forward to what the future holds under Bechtle’s roof,” said Jochen Frank.
