The Managed Services contract, signed 29 October 2010, has a duration of five years and involves support for approximately 2,000 of telegate's currently owned workstations spread across 15 locations throughout Germany. Bechtle is responsible for central helpdesk services, hardware and software lifecycle management and nation-wide field services. Technical IT support is undertaken both on site and remotely via modern remote service tools. Following the principles of Bechtle's proven strategy of standardisation, telegate AG can expect efficient, scalable and high-quality IT services. The Bechtle system house Düsseldorf is solely responsible for all customer relations and project management while being able to call upon the expert technicians of Bechtle Managed Services AG for carrying out the required services.
telegate employees have 24-hour, 7-day-a-week access to a helpdesk for technical-related issues. By employing one service management system for its entire PC client landscape, the local search specialist benefits from the accompanied transparency, being able to readily ensure that all conditions of the support agreement are carried out. All IMAC services (hardware and software upgrades, installations, changes and moves) are taken care of by Bechtle field services. This also includes all repair and maintenance services. Bechtle is also responsible for software administration, initial installation and individual user settings. Complex asset and licence management is handled centrally by Bechtle.
