The life of dual-study programmes students. – Quentin Heinrich portrait
The completion of a three-year dual-study programme at Bechtle direct was just the beginning of Quentin Heinrich’s career at the IT company, so we caught up with him to find out a little bit about his experiences so far.
Could you introduce yourself?
My name is Quentin Heinrich. I’m 25 and I’ve been with Bechtle for three years, starting out as student in the dual-study programme. My diploma in Negotiation and the Digitalisation of Customer Relations saw me take a position as a vocational trainee in the hunting department, before continuing in Business Development Management as a trainee e-procurement coordinator for my bachelor’s degree.
What kind of work did you have to do during your studies?
I was initially responsible for customer acquisitions before moving on to the Business Development team. While studying for my bachelor’s degree, I became involved in a strategic project to develop our e-commerce website, bechtle.com.
What did you enjoy most as a student at Bechtle?
It was a lot of fun to evolve in such a dynamic and open company. I was given plenty of freedom to achieve my goals during my dual-study programme and that taught me to always seize the initiative. I was really given responsibility, which helped me grow and gain confidence. I always felt well-supported and there were other students I could share my experiences with.
Which department are you working in now?
After my degree, I took a permanent position as an e-procurement coordinator. In this role, it’s my task to optimise the customer journey on bechtle.com in order to boost customer satisfaction.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I’d like to thank Bechtle for their trust and support during my training. I’m extremely motivated and looking forward to future challenges in my professional career!
Thank you very much Quentin for your commitment over the last three years. We’re delighted to have you along for the ride.
