Manchester, 13 June 2025 – Bechtle is continuing to expand its presence in the metropolis of North West England by moving into modern premises in the iconic Manchester One office tower in the city centre. The move follows the successful growth of Bechtle’s team in Manchester and reflects the company’s ongoing investment in the region. The new space will accommodate over 100 employees and provides room for interdisciplinary collaboration and creative exchange, all with a focus on supporting customers from both the private and public sectors.
The new offices are conveniently located near all major transport routes in the UK’s fastest-growing city. They offer staff, customers, and visitors an inspiring environment, along with impressive views across the city and the Peak District.
Cefin Williams, General Manager at Bechtle in Manchester, explains: “Manchester is one of the country’s most important economic hubs and provides ideal conditions for our growth plans. Greater Manchester is home to leading companies in future-oriented industries such as life sciences and healthcare, IT and digitalisation, finance, media, and engineering—all of which we aim to support in their digital transformation.”
“The significantly larger new office in Manchester plays an important role in our goal to become one of the UK’s top five IT service providers by 2030,” says James Napp, Managing Director of Bechtle UK. “Manchester not only offers access to a wide range of businesses but also the opportunity to attract highly qualified new colleagues to our teams.”
The Bechtle Group has had a successful presence in the UK for 27 years and has been operating in Manchester since July 2019. With 430 employees across six locations, the company provides a comprehensive portfolio of hardware, software, solutions, and services to businesses and public sector clients. In 2024, Bechtle acquired UK-based system integrator Qolcom as well as DriveWorks, a leading software developer for design automation and configure-price-quote (CPQ) solutions tailored to companies using SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD software.
