The NHS Shared Business Service was established by the Department of  Health and Social Care in 2005, with the aim to deliver modern corporate services to the NHS to help improve efficiency and quality, whilst also saving them time and money.

What do they do?

The NHS Shared Business Service provide a variety of services including Finance & Accounting, Procurement, Employment and Innovation and Technology to over 250 organisations across the UK. This equates to delivering at least one corporate service to two thirds of all NHS providers and commissioners. Due to their size, the NHS Shared Business Service have extensive knowledge enabling them to be market leaders in their field and help the organisations overcome potential challenges.

Which frameworks are Bechtle on?
Digital Workplace

The ‘Digital Workspace framework’ is a new addition and replaces the very successful Link: IT Solutions Framework Agreement. This framework provides a compliant route to source for effective consumer-oriented technologies that meet your requirements across a range of IT infrastructure, hardware and software solutions. It is open to all NHS and public sector authorities and there are 28 suppliers on the framework. This framework will run until August 2024.
