Bechtle Switzerland celebrates IT Powerhouse in Mägenwil with a big party

Mägenwil, 8 May 2023 - Bechtle Schweiz AG celebrated the inauguration of the new building in Mägenwil with a big party. More than 400 guests, including employees, customers, partners and friends of the renowned IT service provider, enjoyed a varied programme. The office in Mägenwil with its 270 workstations convinces with collaboration zones, the use of new working environments as well as with meeting zones and thus becomes an IT powerhouse for customer solutions and employees.

In 2022, the company recorded remarkable organic growth of over 17 %. But Speck does not want to rest on this success:  

"The signs continue to point to growth, and the investment of CHF 18 million in the new building is a comittment to the Swiss market. In order to remain successful, we want to offer our employees a highly attractive working environment. With the new building, we have created new working environments in which our employees can contribute their competences and exchange ideas in interdisciplinary teams - but also together with our partners and customers. This enables our employees to be inspired and to work innovatively, creatively and professionally".  

Customers are also regularly to be found in Mägenwil. This is because the IT Powerhouse in Mägenwil, which functions as the innovation centre, unites the entire value chain of the offering from the workshop to the AI specialists under one roof.    

The new building, constructed by the architects Bele Architekten + Partner GmbH, was built according to the latest energy standards - as was the existing building 9 years ago - and thus meets the latest requirements in terms of ecology and building services. The two buildings use geothermal probes, heat pump systems with freecooling and advanced ventilation systems for above-average energy efficiency. The charging infrastructure installed at the site also supports the Group-wide Charge@Work programme for e-vehicles.
