Bechtle acquires Apple Reseller in Spain

• Bechtle purchases Zaragoza-based iDoo Tech S.L.
• Expansion of strategic activities with Apple in Spain

Neckarsulm, 23 February 2024 – In iDoo Tech S.L., Bechtle has acquired a B2B Apple Authorized Reseller in Spain. Headquartered in Zaragoza, the company has branches in Madrid and Barcelona and employs 13 staff. Leveraging an efficient business model and streamlined processes, iDoo Tech achieved revenues of 6.4 million euros in the 2023 fiscal year—just two-and-a-half years after its founding. Retaining his role as Managing Director, Rafa Cayuelas has some 30 years’ experience in the sale of Apple products and until 2018, was the long-standing Managing Director and co-owner of K-tuin, the largest Apple reseller in Spain. Rafa Cayuelas will continue to lead iDoo Tech, which will operate as an independent brand, along with his usual management team consisting of Eduardo Cayuelas and Fran Fuentes.

Bechtle is continuing its expansion in the Spanish market after it acquired the IT system house, Prosol, in August 2023. iDoo Tech’s focus is on the B2B sale of Apple products including consulting, training and support. In the future, it is planned that all Bechtle Spain’s Apple business will be handled by iDoo Tech with the aim of achieving Apple Authorised Enterprise Reseller status to offer enterprise customers an even more extensive service and solution portfolio on top of hardware sales. Bechtle has held the highest Apple partner status since 2018 and is one of only four Apple Authorised Enterprise Resellers in Germany.

Bechtle has had a foothold in Spain since 2001 with its e-commerce company, Bechtle direct, and with iDoo Tech now employs some 150 staff in the country. As usual, the purchase price and conditions remain confidential.
