Bechtle wins federal administration framework contract for Trend Micro IT security products.

• Framework contract worth 216 million euros

Neckarsulm, 02 April 2025 – The procurement office of Germany’s Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community (BMI) and Bechtle have concluded a framework agreement for the supply of IT security products from Trend Micro, along with associated services and training. The contract has a total volume of 216 million euros and runs for five years, with the option of a two-year extension.

Bechtle AG will fulfil the agreement in collaboration with its long-standing partner, Trend Micro. In addition to products to secure endpoints, servers, networks, and e-mail systems, Bechtle will provide implementation services, ongoing managed services, and German-speaking first and second-level support.

The Bechtle IT System House Bonn, with its long track record in managing and delivering federal-level public-sector projects, will take the operational lead during the multi-year cooperation. To ensure optimal support for government agencies during the rollout and continued operation of Trend Micro solutions, Bechtle and Trend Micro are establishing a dedicated team covering professional services, managed services, support and helpdesk.
