The energy sector imposes high demands in terms of availability, resilience, and performance, as services cannot afford any downtime. In this critical context, our client needed to replace its IT infrastructure while ensuring uninterrupted operational continuity. To meet this challenge, ALTIS launched a structured two-phase public tender aimed at identifying a select group of trusted partners. Following this rigorous process, our expertise was selected to design and deploy a new infrastructure capable of meeting the sector’s high standards.
The solution.
After a thorough analysis of the specifications, we developed a two-phase response in close collaboration with our strategic partner, Dell Technologies. Initially, we based our proposal on an architecture using vSAN Ready Nodes. In the second phase, we refined our approach by recommending the Dell VxRail solution, which significantly simplifies the day-to-day management of the environment, particularly in terms of updates and maintenance. Our approach was structured: reviewing the tender, holding a kickoff meeting, defining the strategy, conducting technical discussions with Dell, and drafting a proposal that perfectly aligned with the expectations. Selected by a steering committee composed of the Commune of Val de Bagnes and Netplus Entremont, our solution was chosen as the most relevant according to the strict criteria of the public procurement process.
