Neckarsulm/Morges, 14 November 2019 – Bechtle expands in Western Switzerland with the addition of Codalis SA. Run by founder Cédric Juillerat since 2001, the Plan-les-Ouates IT service provider has 40 employees and is well-established in the market. In the 2018 fiscal year, Codalis recorded some 10 million Swiss francs in revenues. The system house has a very clear focus on SME and enterprise customers in French-speaking Switzerland, with an offering ranging from IT consulting to a vast array of IT infrastructure solutions. Cédric Juillerat will continue in his current position as the company’s managing director.
Codalis adds highly-skilled IT engineers and technicians to the group, giving a boost to Bechtle’s cloud, mobility and managed services business in Western Switzerland. The company has extensive experience in particular with customer projects in the finance and real estate sectors, as well as with international organisations. After the recent acquisition of Abissa, Codalis represents another increase in Bechtle’s footprint in Western Switzerland. Bechtle has been represented in the region since 2004, opening new offices in Morges and Carouge in 2018.
The two partners are looking forward to unlocking new synergies under the Bechtle umbrella. Codalis’ service offering seamlessly plugs in with that of Bechtle, increasing contract-related revenues, while Codalis will benefit from Bechtle’s national and international skills network, as well as a broader product and service portfolio. “Codalis is a modern, service-oriented IT company that will not only strengthen Bechtle’s presence on the market, but also enrich the group with the addition of excellent employees—great news for customers and employees of both Codalis and Bechtle”, says Hanspeter Oeschger, Executive Vice President, IT System House & Managed Services Switzerland, Bechtle AG.
Cédric Juillerat: “I am looking forward to Codalis’ future within Bechtle—a group that shares our values of progress, sustainability and excellence. The decision means stability for our customers and employees, and consistency in terms of corporate culture and service quality as we move forward together. It’s a great opportunity for both companies. Joining forces with Bechtle enables us to accelerate our development in Western Switzerland and cement our position as a strategic partner in the fields of infrastructure, cloud and mobility.”
Both partners have agreed to keep the cost of transaction confidential.
