Neckarsulm/St. Gallen, 21 May 2019 – In acquiring Alpha Solutions AG, Bechtle AG is expanding its service business in Switzerland for ERP and CRM projects as well as cloud solutions. Over the past financial year, Alpha Solutions achieved revenues of 11.2 million Swiss francs. The solutions provider, founded in 2000, has a workforce of 74 in its St. Gallen and Zurich branches. Among its customers rank Swiss SMEs with a focus on the food, process and wholesale industries, as well as hospitals. Majority shareholder Daniel Popp sees the acquisition as answering the question of his successor, and is resigning from the company. CEO Stefan Heim will continue to hold his position. The Alpha Solutions brand will also remain intact.

Under the Bechtle umbrella, the Microsoft Gold Partner can offer its customers an even wider range of IT solutions from the vendor-rich Bechtle Group portfolio. Alpha Solutions’ competence strengthens Bechtle’s offering in north-east Switzerland and underlines the long-standing partnership with Microsoft. Bechtle acquired another Swiss company in the recent past, Acommit AG last year, which offers a similar portfolio. The two companies enjoy a long-standing positive relationship, and both will remain on the market with their current set-up and brands.
