Neckarsulm, 23 September 2019 – With 229 trainees and students, more young people than ever are kick-starting their careers at Bechtle. A total of 713 budding professionals are currently doing their vocational training and integrated degrees at the IT company—another record! Bechtle continues to build on the previous years' development as a strong educational partner.
The Bechtle Group welcomed 229 new trainees and students at the start of the 2019 academic year. 142 of these have chosen to follow a technical path, while 87 have set their sights on commercial professions. Bechtle offers a total of 15 career paths and degree programmes, including in information technology, wholesale and foreign trade, and consulting. Working closely together with cooperative universities, the IT company trains students in economic and technical subjects such as business administration, business informatics and online media.
Success through education

To make the transition to working life easier, all trainees take part in a two-day orientation event, where they get to know Bechtle, its headquarters and service units. A tried-and-tested mentoring scheme, regular meetings as well as multi-site seminars offer additional opportunities to share stories and build an individual network of contacts.
Broad appeal
In addition to its AZUBIT website and blog, in which current trainees share their experiences with the next generation, Bechtle invests in various activities with the goal of informing students about the wealth of training and career opportunities offered by the company. This includes application training, organising school visits to the headquarters in Neckarsulm as well as extremely popular student internships at many Bechtle locations. Bechtle also regular takes part in recruiting events such as career days or the Germany-wide Girls’ Day. The company was honoured in 2018 as a MINT Minded Company for its significant investment in students, graduates and promising talents in mathematics, IT, sciences and technology.

“For many years, Bechtle has stood for practical and future-oriented training during which students quickly learn to take on responsibility, contribute their own ideas and realise their potential in varied ways.
