Neckarsulm, 3 January 2024 – From 1 April, Mathilde Bluteau will take the helm at Bechtle France with responsibilities for all activities of the Bechtle Group in France. She is the second Vice President, after Marijke Kasius in the Netherlands, to head up a multi-vendor national segment. The 54-year-old French national, who previously worked for the world’s largest IT distributor TD Synnex, has 30 years of experience in IT, and has held international leadership positions at Microsoft, Apple and Cisco. She is highly connected, has an outstanding reputation and is well-acquainted with the structures of the IT landscape. The Bechtle Group is one of the top five IT companies in France with its Bechtle direct, Bechtle Comsoft, Inmac Wstore, Cadmes and Apixit subsidiaries. Mathilde Bluteau will be reporting to COO Konstantin Ebert.
By introducing a new management level, Bechtle aims to sharpen the group’s competitive edge in France while accelerating further growth in the largest European market for Bechtle after Germany. In 2023, the IT company acquired IT security specialist Apixit and now offers IT services along with its direct sales. “Mathilde Bluteau has been our favourite candidate and is a huge win for Bechtle due to her extraordinary leadership skills. In her previous career, she collaborated very successfully with the Bechtle Group’s subsidiaries in France. This is the foundation we will build upon to bolster our growing presence on the French market and gain an even stronger foothold” says Konstantin Ebert, COO IT E-commerce, Bechtle AG.
Market insider with strong network
Mathilde Bluteau will continue to live in Paris, from where she will leverage her extensive international network that she has established over three decades to support Bechtle in realising its ambitious plans for growth. “I am fascinated by the opportunities that Bechtle France has to offer. The group’s strength, the room for entrepreneurial freedom at a regional level and the aspiring plans for growth all offer a huge chance for me to leverage my experience and tap into the enormous potential that Bechtle has as a future-first IT partner in France. I am really looking forward to it” says Mathilde Bluteau.
