
Neckarsulm/Hanover, 13 June 2024 – Bechtle has once again been awarded the framework agreement for project management and independent IT consultation to drive digitalisation across the state of Lower Saxony. The agreement has a two-year term plus the option to extend it twice, each time for an additional year. During this period, Bechtle will be providing a wide-range of services—from strategic consulting and programme and project management to providing assistance for related RFPs, along with architecture services for the configuration and expansion of secure, future-proof IT infrastructures. In addition to the state’s administration, local authorities in Lower Saxony will also be able benefit from the framework agreement.
The central IT service provider for the state, IT.Niedersachsen has once again concluded a framework service agreement with Bechtle. Having submitted the winning bid for the agreement on project management and independent IT consultation, the Bechtle IT System House in Hanover is supporting IT.Niedersachsen to drive the digital transformation of public authorities.
Lower Saxony’s Digital Strategy 2030 aims to make numerous services available online and enable the public sector to leverage digital innovations. Against the backdrop of the digitalisation of public authorities throughout Germany, Lower Saxony is taking the lead in the development digital healthcare services, which authorities across the country can adopt in accordance with a “one-for-all” strategy.
