Bechtle named IONOS Cloud Partner of the Year

• European cloud provider honours Bechtle as its best partner
• Numerous successes with both corporate and public sector customers

Neckarsulm, 26 November 2021 – Cloud infrastructure specialist IONOS has named Bechtle as its Cloud Partner of the Year. The honour was announced yesterday during the virtual IONOS Partner Summit and recognises the outstanding development in collaboration between the European IT companies. Since 2020, Bechtle and IONOS have been successfully serving the growing demand from companies and the public sector for powerful, secure and data-sovereign cloud solutions.

With this award, IONOS recognises the partnership’s exceptional development, taking into consideration revenues, cloud projects generated and implemented together, the number of certified Bechtle specialists as well as other measures to bolster collaboration. IONOS’ IaaS offerings can be procured from the Bechtle Clouds Marketplace and are easy to scale as part of a multi-cloud procurement model. Furthermore, Bechtle and IONOS are working together on several public sector projects, including the implementation of Dataport’s open-source based administrative workplace, dPhoenix Suite; the GAIA-X flagship project, POSSIBLE; as well as framework contract partners on the European Open Clouds for Research Environments (OCRE) project.
