A new network was at the heart of a large-scale ICT and outsourcing project at the Careum Bildungszentrum in Zurich. The new setup should fulfil the highest security, availability and business efficiency requirements as well as take into account bring-your-own-device. A solution was developed in Cisco’s intent-based networking architecture and consisted of a modern software architecture with the Cisco DNA Center software controller and continuing interaction with the tried and tested Cisco Catalyst 9000 series infrastructure switch.
