What is Copilot?

Copilot is the new name for Bing Chat and Bing Chat Enterprise, and it's now available to everyone. For now, the names Copilot and Bing Chat Enterprise can be used interchangeably as various parts of the experience transition to the new name.

It can be accessed from copilot.microsoft.com, Bing.com/chat, Edge and Windows. Eligible users who log in to Copilot with Entra ID benefit from commercial data protection.

In Copilot, Microsoft has developed an AI tool that automates workflows and daily tasks, for example by summarising Outlook e-mails or Teams meetings, writing written offers based on notes, transforming Excel spreadsheets into trend analyses, generating PowerPoint presentations from Word documents and much more.
