E-Mail Health & Security Check.

Your central platform for secure and reliable email communication.

The Email Health & Security Check is now an indispensable part of any sustainable IT and security strategy. It gives companies the control they need to protect themselves against modern threats, secure their communication capabilities and comply with regulatory requirements.

Our offer.

With the Email Health & Security Check, we identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations and security gaps in your email infrastructure before they become a serious risk to your business. You will then receive a practical package of measures, prioritised for immediate implementation to optimise your systems and improve the security of your corporate communications.

Our approach.

Comprehensive infrastructure auditing.

We check your entire email setup for potential misconfigurations.

Security and performance analysis.

Using specialised tools, we systematically examine your email infrastructure for security gaps and performance deficits.

Focus areas of our investigation.

  • Vulnerability analysis of mail servers: Identification of outdated software, insufficient encryption and incorrect settings
  • Optimisation of delivery and availability: Review of DNS/MX entries and blacklist status

The result.

You receive clear reporting with specific, prioritised recommendations for action – from configuration templates for SPF, DKIM and DMARC to best practice guidelines. This ensures a robust email environment, maximises delivery rates and minimises the risk of spam and phishing.

How reliable is your email infrastructure in light of current threats?

Mail servers are systems exposed to the internet and are therefore particularly vulnerable to attacks. Vulnerabilities such as outdated software, misconfigurations or insufficient encryption can lead to serious problems such as data leaks and compromised accounts.

Our check helps you identify and minimise these risks.

1. Risk minimisation through vulnerability elimination

2. Operational optimisation of email delivery and availability

3. Compliance with GDPR, BSI basic protection and industry standards

4. Reduction of spam, phishing and business email compromise (BEC)

Advantages of using SPF, DKIM and DMARC.

SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is a mechanism that determines which mail servers are authorised to send emails on behalf of your domain. Entries in the DNS system are used to check whether the sending server is listed in this list. This allows a receiving mail infrastructure to quickly recognise whether it is an authorised source and reject spam attempts

DKIM (Domain Keys Identified Mail) uses cryptographic signatures to ensure that an email has not been altered during transmission. The sending mail server adds a digital key to each outgoing message, which the receiving server validates using the public key in the DNS. This prevents the content or sender address from being manipulated en route.

DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance) combines SPF and DKIM into a uniform policy. Domain owners define how receiving mail servers should handle unauthenticated emails (e.g. reject, quarantine). In addition, reporting data is provided to identify unresolved delivery issues and continuously secure your domain.

The use of SPF, DKIM and DMARC offers significant security benefits by strengthening the protection of your email communications while promoting deliverability and brand integrity. A health check ensures that these mechanisms are implemented correctly and that your email infrastructure is optimally protected.
