Electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste, but collected separately.

Electrical and electronic equipment bears the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. The symbol indicates that waste equipment must be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste. You are required to take waste equipment to a suitable collection or take-back point.

We work with the waste management service provider Interzero to take back and recover waste electrical and electronic equipment. We are also registered with stiftung elektro-altgeräte register (stiftung ear) under WEEE registration number 55471086.

Waste equipment may contain personal data. You are responsible for deleting these data before disposing of the equipment.

Batteries may contain substances that are harmful to human health and the environment, particularly if they are not disposed of correctly.

Batteries bear the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. The symbol  indicates that a battery must not be disposed of with household waste. This symbol indicates that waste equipment must be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste. End users are therefore legally required to keep waste batteries separate from household waste and take them to a suitable collection point.

The following chemical symbols identify certain hazardous substances:

• Pb: The battery contains more than 0.004% lead by weight.
• Cd: The battery contains more than 0.002% cadmium by weight.
• Hg: The battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury by weight.

Separate collection and proper disposal allow valuable raw materials to be reused and recovered. Waste batteries must be handled safely. Particular care is required with batteries containing lithium, as they may present an increased risk of fire or explosion.

To meet our statutory producer responsibility obligations for batteries, we participate in Landbell’s producer responsibility organisation, which arranges the collection and responsible recovery of waste batteries. We are also registered with stiftung elektro-altgeräte register (stiftung ear) under battery registration number 24419253.

You can return used batteries and rechargeable batteries free of charge to municipal collection and recycling centres or to collection points provided by retailers. Please contact the relevant producer to return industrial batteries.

To fulfil our legal obligations, we participate in an approved dual system for all packaging we place on the market. As a result, all packaging materials supplied by us can be disposed of through the existing public collection and recycling infrastructure at no additional cost. This ensures the proper collection, sorting and recycling of packaging in line with the principles of the circular economy.
