Neckarsulm, 25 July 2017 – Bechtle has launched a new cloud portal available at www.bechtle-clouds.com. The new website enables private and public-sector customers to easily source a large number of public and business-cloud services through a single platform. The new offering is currently available to customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In the future, it will be extended to France, the Netherlands and the UK. This cloud portal is another milestone in Bechtle’s endeavour to establish itself as a multi-cloud service provider.
Bechtle launched a new cloud portal for customers in July, in line with its cloud roadmap. This move expands the company’s portfolio of cloud solutions with a powerful, flexible and easy-to-use platform for procuring cloud services. For now the portal, accessible at www.bechtle-clouds.com, provides access to numerous products by Bechtle partner Microsoft. In the coming months, Bechtle will successively add third-party services by partners such as ServiceNow, as well as home-grown cloud services. “Bechtle Clouds is all about relieving customers of complex back-end processes, service configurations, and the management of various partners and agreements. Instead, everything is neatly consolidated into a single platform,” says Bernd Krakau, Managing Director of Bechtle Clouds GmbH.
Advanced platform technology.
The portal enables the unified deployment, management and invoicing of diverse cloud services from a single source. To this end, Bechtle and Netcracker Technology have designed a purpose-built platform architecture that integrates with the Bechtle Group’s existing back-office systems. Bechtle specialists run the new cloud platform from a highly secure data centre located on Frankfurt’s e-shelter campus using Bechtle’s own cutting-edge hardware and network technology from HPE and Cisco. The site’s proximity to the world’s largest internet exchange point guarantees optimum connectivity with all major hyperscalers.
New opportunities for customers.
