2021 sees 244 new trainees and students starting their careers at Bechtle, as new hires reach an all-time high.

Bechtle's employees are the most important player in our Vision. The company is a place where great people accomplish great things. These are some of their stories.

Alexander Schweitzer describes himself as a straightforward guy, and his career at Bechtle is a case in point. Ten years ago, his first day at Bechtle also happened to mark his first venture into IT. Fast-forward a decade, in 2021 he’s one of two managing directors of Bechtle direct. When you look closely, though, his trajectory didn’t always follow such a straight line. In fact, when he first joined Bechtle, it took a surprising turn.

When Matthias Drescher applied for a job at Bechtle, things didn’t really go to plan. But he got his foot in another Bechtle door. The start of a career that reached its peak in 2016—the former trainee takes the helm of Bechtle ÖA direct.

I’m Justine, I’m 21 years old and currently in my second year of training. I’ve been undergoing training to become an office manager with a focus on HR and accounting at Bechtle in Neckarsulm since September 2019. As an AZUBIT, I would love to share my daily work and experiences with you.

I’m Marc and I’m 17. This makes me one of the few trainees who aren’t 18 yet. I’ve been in training to become an IT systems management assistant since September 2019 at the Bechtle Neckarsulm. I’m currently in my second year of training. As an AZUBIT, I’d like to give you a look into my life and show you highlights from training at Bechtle.

My name is Moritz and I’m 19 years old. I started my training as an IT specialist for application development at Bechtle Neckarsulm in September 2020. By sharing these blog posts, I would like to give you an impression of my training and answer all questions related to IT and the interesting technologies that go along with it.

My name’s Tim, I’m 22 and I’m currently in my third year of training to become an IT systems management assistant. I want my contributions to AZUBIT to give you some insight into my training and Bechtle as an employer. I will be telling you which departments you get to experience and how they are interconnected. I will also tell you something about the opportunities you have for the future and which advantages Bechtle can offer you as an employer. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

When he thinks ahead to 2030, Christian Deppisch imagines us “working with smart equipment like smart glasses, smart gloves and robots and with a high degree of automation.” He’s a Bechtle innovation manager. His home is logistics. His business is the future.

As part of my studies in "Business Administration, Marketing and Media Management", I wrote my bachelor's thesis on social media employer branding at Bechtle in spring and summer 2018. Since September 2018, I have been working at Bechtle AG and am responsible for the communication of HR topics and employer branding. During my studies, I was an intern and working student at VfB Stuttgart in marketing and campaign management as well as ticketing.

Bechtle’s IT system house in Kiel lies in the north of Germany, and it’s where Fabian Gerhart did his vocational training and graduated as an IT specialist—finishing as the best in his year. Sounds pretty straight forward, doesn’t it? It wasn’t. He tells us his story in this interview.

I am Jana and have been working for Bechtle since the beginning of 2018. I started as an intern during my studies at Heilbronn University. Afterwards, I stayed with the company as a working student and also completed my Bachelor's thesis in cooperation with Bechtle. I now work as an HR Specialist and am responsible for internal HR communication.

Moritz Dierberger’s Bechtle story begins in the spring of 2017. As a student, he does an internship at Bechtle Rottenburg and a little later comes back to work on his bachelor thesis. And a little later again segues right into building an all-new department. In the meantime, Moritz Dierberger acts as Business Development Manager.
