Neckarsulm, 1 September 2026 – Bechtle has had its sustainability performance assessed by the Ecovadis Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) rating platform since 2016. Having previously achieved five Silver and two Gold ratings, the IT service provider has now been awarded Platinum for the first time, placing it among the top 1% of companies assessed worldwide in its industry.
In this year’s Ecovadis rating, Bechtle scored 97 out of 100, placing it in the 99th percentile. This represents an 18-point increase on its 2025 score of 79, with improvements across all four themes and particularly strong gains in Ethics and Environment.
The rating assesses 21 criteria across four themes—Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. Despite increasingly rigorous requirements, Bechtle’s result reflects the continued development of its sustainability management system and its commitment to combining commercial success with environmental and social responsibility.

Ecovadis assesses corporate sustainability performance worldwide, providing detailed scorecards across four areas—the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Its ratings cover more than 180 countries and 220 industries and offer a globally recognised benchmark for comparing a company’s sustainability management with that of other assessed companies.
