Neckarsulm, 6 October 2026 – Bechtle and secunet Security Networks AG are joining forces to deliver sovereign solutions for secure IT infrastructures. secunet’s portfolio expands Bechtle’s offering with secure communications and cybersecurity technologies, with secunet providing the sovereign security platform and Bechtle responsible for its operation and delivery to customers across Europe. Together, the two companies are aiming to unlock new market opportunities, strengthen customers’ digital resilience and help them build and operate secure IT infrastructures.
The partnership will focus on solutions based on the secure network architecture SINA and the secunet edge platform. SINA enables government agencies, businesses and organisations with stringent security requirements to protect and exchange sensitive information, supporting use cases ranging from secure workstations and mobile working environments to encrypted communications and protected network connections. secunet edge, meanwhile, provides the technological foundation for scalable managed services in decentralised IT environments, enabling applications, systems and devices to be integrated, centrally managed and operated securely throughout their lifecycle.
Building on secunet technology, Bechtle will develop standardised managed services that enable customers to reliably operate business-critical infrastructures while significantly reducing the administrative effort associated with maintenance, monitoring and lifecycle management.
“secunet is a recognised partner for highly secure and classified data processing in Europe. Together, we are delivering scalable cybersecurity solutions that can be provided to customers end to end. Public-sector organisations, critical infrastructure operators and regulated businesses increasingly need robust European alternatives for business-critical security architectures,” said Jörg Öynhausen, Managing Director, Bechtle Managed Services.
Together for digital sovereignty in Europe
Beyond expanding their business in Germany, both companies are pursuing a shared European growth strategy focused on entering new markets and developing sovereign security solutions for organisations with stringent requirements for data protection, compliance and information security. The partnership is a response to growing demand for trusted European security solutions, giving customers access to a technology platform developed entirely in Europe, combined with the implementation and operational expertise of a leading European IT service provider. Together, Bechtle and secunet are helping organisations in critical and regulated sectors bolster their digital sovereignty and resilience.
“Trusted technologies and strong partnerships are essential to making digital sovereignty a practical reality. By working with Bechtle, we are significantly expanding our reach and making it easier for customers across Europe to access sovereign cybersecurity solutions by combining our security technologies with Bechtle’s pan-European sales, integration and managed services capabilities,” said Torsten Henn, Chief Operating Officer (COO), secunet Security Networks AG.
