Nicole Engenhardt-Gillé joins Bechtle as Vice President HR & People Development

    • New Vice President HR & People Development role enhances strategic HR leadership at Bechtle

Neckarsulm, 7 October 2026 – Bechtle AG has created the position of Vice President HR & People Development and appointed Nicole Engenhardt-Gillé to the role with effect from 1 November 2026. With extensive HR experience spanning talent and leadership development as well as organisational development, she will play a key role in advancing Bechtle’s strategic people agenda, reflecting the importance of people, leadership and corporate culture to the company’s long-term success. Nicole Engenhardt-Gillé will report to Konstantin Ebert, designated CEO of Bechtle AG.

As IT infrastructures, cloud platforms, artificial intelligence and digital business models become more complex, so does the challenge of advising customers and delivering solutions. For Bechtle, attracting, developing and retaining talented professionals is therefore key to successfully supporting customers throughout their digital transformation.

“Our people are the single most important factor in securing the long-term success of our business. Nicole Engenhardt-Gillé is a highly experienced leader who has demonstrated over many years how HR strategy and transformation can drive business success,” said Konstantin Ebert, COO and designated CEO of Bechtle AG.

In her new role, Nicole Engenhardt-Gillé will oversee the Bechtle Group’s key people priorities, including the strategic direction of HR, talent and leadership programmes, and cross-organisational initiatives designed to strengthen leadership, collaboration and culture.

Nicole Engenhardt-Gillé brings more than two decades of leadership experience spanning human resources, organisational development and business transformation. Most recently, she served on the Executive Board of freenet AG as Chief Human Resources and ESG Officer, having previously held leadership roles in human resources, legal affairs and holdings management. From 2009, she was responsible for HR across all companies in the group and helped steer numerous transformation and change processes. With a background in law, she brings extensive experience in developing organisations, leaders and cultures.

“The demands placed on organisations are evolving rapidly, and successful transformation starts with people. I look forward to working with colleagues across the Group to continue shaping the conditions that enable employees to realise their full potential and Bechtle to sustain its successful growth,” said Nicole Engenhardt-Gillé.

The new role of Vice President HR & People Development complements the existing organisational structure and will drive key HR and people development priorities across the Bechtle Group. The existing leadership roles within the central Human Resources and People Development functions will remain unchanged and report to Nicole Engenhardt-Gillé from 1 November.

Nicole Engenhardt-Gillé, 58, studied law at the universities of Heidelberg and Mannheim before completing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in European Integration. She will be based at the Bechtle Group’s headquarters in Neckarsulm.
