Display size: The display has rounded corners. Measured as a rectangle, the display has a diagonal of 6.86" (17.42 cm) on the iPhone 17 Pro Max, 6.55" (16.63 cm) on the iPhone Air, 6.27" (15.93 cm) on the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro, and 6.06" (15.40 cm) on the iPhone 16e. The actual viewable display area is smaller.
Storage: 1 GB = 1 billion bytes and 1 TB = 1 trillion bytes; actual formatted capacity is less.
Power and battery: All battery life claims are dependent on network configuration and other factors. Actual results may vary. Charge up to 50% in 20 minutes: Testing conducted by Apple in July 2025 using preproduction iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max units and software, USB-C charging cable with Apple 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max (model A3351) and Apple MagSafe chargers (1-metre model A3502 and 2-metre model A3503) with Apple 30W USB-C Power Adapter (model A2164) or Apple 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max (model A3351). Fast charging tests were conducted with depleted iPhone devices. Times were measured from when the Apple logo appeared during device startup. Charging time varies depending on adapter, settings, usage and environmental conditions. Actual results may vary.
