Traditional landlines are nearing the end of the road as people increasingly turn to VoIP. VoIP, which stands for ‘Voice over Internet Protocol’, is simply phone service provided through the Internet. With the right hardware, switching to this state-of-the-art technology is easy even in larger companies and delivers significant benefits. For instance, VoIP transmits both audio and video data, which enables collaboration through video conferences. And your own personal VoIP number works worldwide, independent of any specific location. Save money with VoIP

VoIP requires broadband Internet access, which many companies already have, making it easy to switch over to VoIP. By optimising your Internet plan, you can then substantially lower your phone costs—up to 60 percent compared with ISDN. Switching to VoIP can also improve your Internet’s performance. Because landline phones and the Internet often share the same copper cables, a large chunk of the frequency spectrum is blocked by the ISDN or analogue phones. By contrast, VoIP only uses a comparatively small portion of the connection capacity.

VoIP routers and call managers

VoIP requires special routers to transmit digitalised signals via the Internet. You’ll find them in our online shop, as well as a large selection of VoIP-specific software and phones. VoIP call managers harmonise the old and new technology, allowing you to continue taking advantage of your old phone system.
