Offenburg, 05 December 2011— Bechtle's IT system house in Offenburg strengthens its position by acquiring the long-standing IT system house Rösch GmbH. Bechtle has taken over Rösch's four-person team, along with the infrastructure maintenance agreements with its existing customers. Heinz Rösch, the former managing director who founded the company in 1988, will be sticking with the company: "From day one, Bechtle was a partner we felt a real connection with. Not only will we profit from noticeable synergy effects and the possibilities that come with a financially powerful corporation represented throughout Europe, but we can also continue to act as an independent, local system house in the region. Rösch's customers are SMBs with up to 600 IT workplaces. The system house has always focussed on establishing trust and long-term relationships; as a result, the majority of Rösch's customers have worked with the company for over ten years now. Rösch's range of services includes hardware and software, as well as IT services, with a specialisation in IT infrastructure solutions.

Bechtle started out in Offenburg in April 2008 by acquiring baden-data GmbH and its team of five. There are now four times the original number of employees. "In the past three-and-a-half years, we've made a good names for ourselves among the SMBs in the Ortenau region. Our strong growth confirms this fact. I'm very pleased that Rösch's experienced, highly qualified team will now be joining forces with us. I'm convinced that a great deal of shared success lies ahead of us," says Karl-Heinz Augustin, managing director of Bechtle's IT system houses in Freiburg and Offenburg.
The new business quarters acquired in 2010 provide ideal working conditions for the team, which has now grown to 21 employees. With just under 400 square metres, the location meets all the technical and functional requires of a modern office.

Bechtle offers a wide range of services, from IT systems integration and consulting, to supplying hardware and software, planning and implementing projects, and providing sophisticated service concepts. Bechtle's areas of expertise also include specialist topics such as cloud computing, virtualisation, networking, unified communications, IT security, data protection/data security and operational support through what are known as Managed Services.
The IT system houses in Freiburg and Offenburg currently have 94 employees. "In addition to our regional presence, which we're strengthening and continuing to develop, our customers benefit from the extensive expert knowledge of the central units and solutions specialists at Bechtle AG," says Karl-Heinz Augustin. Bechtle's customers in the Freiburg/Offenburg are primarily SMBs from a wide variety of industries, as well as the public sector.
