Neckarsulm, 21 May 2013 – Bechtle recently hosted its fourth Mobile Day at corporate headquarters in Neckarsulm, Germany. Over 500 visitors came to learn about products and solutions covering all as-pects of enterprise mobility. The event was an even greater success than in previous years, garnering over-whelmingly positive feedback from both attendees and the 30 manufacturers present. The highly rated presentations focused on such topics as technological innovations and tried-and-true mobile computing solutions. The high level of visitor interest confirms current market research, which indicates that mobile computing is one of the hottest IT topics in 2013.
“If mobility is all about efficiency in the business world, then any event focusing on this topic should demonstrate the same quality. The positive responses we've received from our customers seem to indicate that we've succeeded in doing just that,” states Mario Düll, managing director of Bechtle direct Germany. As in years past, efficiency was the guiding theme for the fourth edition of this mobile computing trade fair. Participants eager to inform themselves about the most important trends in the field flocked to Bechtle Platz 1 on 16 May 2013 to attend the event hosted by Bechtle direct and Bechtle's IT System House Neckarsulm. Throughout, Bechtle's mobile specialists observed an interesting trend compared to previous years: no longer content with a general overview of possible solutions, customers now ask highly detailed and targeted questions about concrete solutions and the consequences arising from the steadily increasing mobility of business devices. Judging by this progression, the topic has moved past its initial introductory phase, with IT leaders now seeking specific applications. This explains the great interest in practice-oriented expert presentations covering not only security solutions, but also the success of business apps, bring-your-own-device and mobile device management.
The success of the event was a pleasure to all. “We hadn't thought that it was even possible to improve on the already very positive participant feed-back. The fact that we were able to do so supports our choice of a strict thematic focus and confirms the quality of our presenters,” continues Mario Düll. In addition to Bechtle's wide range of services, the event offered an interesting mix of the latest products and manufacturer developments. An evening programme marked the customary casual end to this year's Mobile Day, which, as the company's most important event on IT mobility, is an ideal complement to the annual Bechtle Competence Center Days held in March.
