The aim was to create a solution that not only delivers the technology, but also offers genuine value—combining maximum security with usability. Solution.

The result is a web portal that makes core AI capabilities easily accessible:

Summarising documents
Transcribing audio and video files
Writing and structuring text

The interface is intentionally simple, requiring no technical expertise while the system has been tailored to the ministry’s processes and design. And the impact was clear from the very first tests with tasks that used to take minutes now completed in seconds.

Maximum security.

The platform is based on Microsoft Azure and guarantees: no external processing, no storage, no use for model improvement. Content is deleted after use. This level of security immediately gave employees confidence. This was made possible by close cooperation and the relevant expertise between the ministry, Bechtle Austria, and Smartpoint.

A project on equal terms.

The portal was designed, implemented, and tested in just two months. Bechtle implemented an Azure Landing Zone with security and governance policies and planned the infrastructure. Smartpoint implemented the functions in a customized manner, focusing on usability and security. Around 300 employees use the portal every day, and efficiently. Tasks that used to take minutes or hours are now completed in seconds.
