Solution.

After a consultation with Bechtle experts, Otto Ganter chose a cloud-based endpoint detection and response solution tailored to its specific needs. It detects threats in real-time and automatically fends them off using AI-based technologies that analyse complex attack patterns and identify suspicious activities. The EDR tool is also able to evaluate security incidents itself and implement countermeasures without the need for manual intervention. To further support Otto Ganter, Bechtle provides a managed service that takes the high level of security up a notch, managing the company’s security policies, monitoring systems and responding to incidents by, for example, isolating systems. Furthermore, Bechtle optimised the existing EDR platform before rolling out the service by standardising security policies to boost security even more. Bechtle also put together a manual covering day-to-day service defining a chain of reporting, among other things. The IT department is now not only relieved of routine tasks, but Bechtle continually monitors and optimises the EDR tool.
