IServ RLP – what exactly is it?

The IServ school platform is a solution for a school's educational network. It includes numerous functions for everyday school life – from lesson planning to the complete administration of an educational institution. The system complies with data protection regulations and offers maximum flexibility. The system can be customised for each school according to their wishes and requirements. More than 50 different modules are available.

The use of IServ RLP is free for schools, as this software is provided by the state.

Prerequisite for using IServ RLP.

Technical administration must be carried out by a certified support service provider such as Bechtle or a certified school authority. If schools have specific requirements, these can be developed and implemented in close cooperation between the support service provider, school authority and school.

IServ RLP offers significantly more functions than MNS+.

Due to the rapidly evolving IT landscape in Germany, for example with regard to mobile devices and Wi-Fi infrastructure in schools, the state of Rhineland-Palatinate has opted for this new, reliable and future-oriented software solution. In terms of overall functionality, IServ RLP will go far beyond what MNS+ has offered to date, for example by also supporting school organisational processes.

MNS+ can still be used with Bechtle.

If switching to IServ RLP is not an option for you at present, Bechtle continues to offer numerous tailor-made services to ensure the reliable operation of MNS+ at your school.

Pilot installations of IServ RLP successfully completed.

At the beginning of July, Bechtle successfully completed the first pilot installation of IServ RLP at a school. The solution was installed at Lenneberg GRS+ in Budenheim. Additional schools will follow in the coming weeks.
