The DisplayPort KVM extender consists of a transmitter and a receiver unit. It allows DisplayPort and USB signals to be extended up to 100 m This is an optimal solution if a standard DisplayPort cable length is not sufficient. In addition, a second display (dual-head) can be connected on the receiver side. When used with an optional MST hub, up to four displays (quad-head - e.g. ref. MSTDP124DP) can be supported.
Supports resolutions of up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz with one monitor, up to 2560 x 1600 pixels at 60 Hz with two monitors, and up to 1920 x 1200 pixels at 60 Hz with three or four monitors.
Connection between transmitter and receiver via S/FTP Cat6 RJ45 cable or better, up to 100 m
With fibre SFP modules fitted, link distances of up to 4 km are possible (e.g. SFP-MM-LC-10G up to 500 m; SFP-SM-LC-10G up to 4 km).
