Bechtle's planning service for new WLAN infrastructures to create a WLAN heatmap of your premises including recommended spots to install access points. Service rundown Once you've submitted your order we'll be in touch to determine a date for a personal meeting to discuss preliminary details such as: - What end devices will connect to your new WLAN, and how many? - Which applications will communicate via the WLAN? - Which parts of your premises will need to be covered? - Are there any physical limits to where access points can be installed? - Do you wish to extend an existing installation? - Have you already made a decision on which manufacturer and access point models you wish to use? To plan your infrastructure, we will require building plans/blueprints of your premises, which will be evaluated by our experienced specialists to create an optimal infrastructure. What we need from you There are a few things you will have to provide so we can deliver the service: - A named contact who is able to answer technical and organisational questions during the interview - General collaboration to determine a schedule and work out project details in meetings - Suitable building plans in DWG format (alternatively, as a high-resolution PDF file) Scope of service This service does not include physical on-site measuring or optimisation and troubleshooting of your existing WLAN infrastructure. We are happy to provide individual consultation on such services as these are highly dependent on your specific situation. Consultation before and after the simulation will be aligned to the above service descriptions. Each consultation session will be around 30-60 minutes and held remotely. On-site consultation is not part of this service product.
