Capital Markets Day 2026: Bechtle’s roadmap for profitable growth, internationalisation and AI.
Around 60 analysts and investors joined Bechtle for its Capital Markets Day on 17 September at Deutsche Börse in Frankfurt, either in person or via livestream. The event offered insight into the company’s priorities through 2030, with a focus on growth targets, international expansion and the role of artificial intelligence.
Opening the event, CEO Dr Thomas Olemotz outlined Bechtle's strategic priorities through 2030. CFO Christian Jehle then presented the financial targets behind the Bechtle Vision, putting them into the context of current market conditions and Bechtle’s position today.
Through organic growth, a stronger contribution from its service business, productivity gains and targeted acquisitions, Bechtle aims to increase business volume to more than €10 billion by 2030 while raising its EBT margin to 5%.
Bechtle enters the next phase of growth with a strong market position, 120 locations across 14 European countries, a broad customer and partner network, and continued investment in processes, platforms and AI applications.

Konstantin Ebert, COO and CEO-designate, and James Napp, Regional Director UK & Ireland, highlighted the role international growth will play in Bechtle’s continued development. The aim is to build on the strengths of the group’s regional businesses while bringing them closer together as part of an integrated European organisation, enabling Bechtle to support customers even more effectively across borders.
Stronger ties across the group are also expected to encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration and create economies of scale.
Drawing on the example of Bechtle’s UK business, Konstantin Ebert and James Napp showed how organic growth and targeted acquisitions, including ACS, Tangible Benefit and Qolcom, have worked hand in hand in recent years. Looking ahead, AI, cybersecurity, cloud and managed services are expected to provide further momentum for growth.
CTO Dirk Müller-Niessner discussed how artificial intelligence is transforming IT and becoming integral to how organisations create value. Against this backdrop, Bechtle sees its role not simply as a technology provider, but as a trusted IT partner throughout the AI journey. This includes helping customers identify use cases, design the right architecture, build secure platforms, operate AI applications and continuously optimise them.
Bechtle is itself making extensive use of AI, too. An in-house solution called Next Best Action uses data-driven insights to surface customer needs and make tailored recommendations, while TenderX provides an initial analysis of complex RFPs, helping to streamline tender management. AI is also used across the supply chain to improve demand forecasting, optimise inventory levels and support more efficient fulfilment.
