Leveraging a federal and state support programme for equipping schools and the End Device Funding Policy for Educators in North Rhine-Westphalian Schools, the City of Dortmund was able to provide 154 educational institutions with Apple iPads. Despite market difficulties and disrupted supply chains, Bechtle successfully delivered the 25,000 iPads for distance learning to the schools—all preloaded with a custom image.

Christoph Zimmermann has been working at the Bechtle networking competence centre in Rottenburg where he has been almost exclusively responsible for the WLAN technologies of the vendor Aerohive Networks since 2014. He has since continued to expand his knowledge with CWNP certifications in the area of WLAN.

Frank Wagner has his roots in the most diverse enterprise administrative environments. He ist generally responsible for consulting, mostly in Germany, but also abroad. His career in the IT industry spans around 15 years so far. He is happy to create designs and solutions that meet customer requirements.

Founded in 1982, the IT system house in Duisburg joined the Bechtle Group in 2008. In addition to IT solutions in client management, server & storage, networking solutions, virtualisation, IT security and software, the system house also provides printer asset management services, IBM point-of-sale systems and solutions for academic institutions. It features an in-house Acer demo classroom, in which customers an explore possible solutions live, as well as a Bechtle training centre.

I’m Sebastian Albert and I’ve been working at Bechtle Würzburg since March 2019. After my studies as an IT specialist and in business informatics, I chose to join the Bechtle trainee programme as a Systems Engineer.

I am originally trained as a power system electronics technician and have completed a course of study as a technical computer scientist via the second educational path. I have been working in the computer industry for almost 38 years. Whether as a digital electronics engineer, networker, programmer, system specialist for network & security or in consulting - almost 38 years in the computer industry shape my experience and form the supporting pillars in my customer projects with a goal and success-oriented approach.

Marko Unger completed his business management training before taking a position as Network Administrator in a military logistics centre. He has been working at Bechtle for over 13 years in the field of HPE Aruba, helping to build the network business.

Jan Hohengarten recognized his fascination for IT early on. In 2010 he turned his passion into his profession. After completing his training, he started in Cisco operations control. Since the beginning of 2017, he has been active in sales and has been specialized in Cisco's security technology.

Sabrina Frisch works as a tender manager in the Public Sector Division. After studying international economics, she started at Bechtle as a trainee and is now supporting her colleagues outside of Germany to prepare tenders.

I started my training in August 2015 in Bechtle's Operational Service team at the Meschede site and moved to the IT Security competence team in 2017. Since then, my focus has been on working with the firewall, endpoint, and mobile device management products from the manufacturer Sophos, as well as network monitoring with PRTG. For almost two years now, I have been working almost exclusively for a major customer, where I am responsible for the current 125 site firewalls throughout North Rhine-Westphalia, as well as network monitoring for the data centers.

Jens Käsbauer was bitten by the IT bug as youngster. His first steps were taken on the Atari 800 XL and 130 XE micro computers before moving into the professional world of application development and network technology. Later, he started in the marketing team at the Bechtle subsidiary ARP. Since 2019, he has been located at the Bechtle headquarters in Neckarsulm.

My name’s Tim, I’m 22 and I’m currently in my third year of training to become an IT systems management assistant.
