Neckarsulm, 12 February 2015 – Bechtle AG has been awarded EMC’s Platinum Partner status, the highest level in the storage specialist’s new partner programme, which was launched in 2015. This puts Bechtle in an elite group of just two partners in Germany. The IT service and e-commerce provider also has the most technical and sales certifications for EMC in the German market.
Bechtle’s new Platinum Partner status in EMC’s Business Partner Programme (BPP) replaces the previous programme’s top category, Signature Partner, which Bechtle also held. Requirements for reaching the highest level are now tougher, and Bechtle is one of only two German companies and four total EMC partners in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) to have met them. Bechtle was selected on the basis of its 2014 revenue in EMC products as well as its proven expertise in all aspects of the storage and software vendor’s portfolio. Bechtle not only met all criteria, it exceeded them.
