Sustainability at Bechtle.

Bechtle began taking a systematic approach to sustainability as early as 2011, placing a premium on authenticity and credibility, and taking an initial stance through the Bechtle Sustainability Code – a set of principles published in 2013 to guide responsible and forward-thinking corporate management. Between September 2020 and August 2021, the Bechtle Sustainability Strategy 2030 was developed, which replaced the Sustainability Code. It provides answers to the question of what Bechtle wants to achieve in terms of economical, ecological, and social aspects by the year 2030 – our big-picture benchmark for corporate responsibility across the Bechtle Group.

Bechtle continues to drive sustainable mobility.

50 new fully electric vehicles VW ID.3 were added to the Bechtle fleet in October 2020. At the same time, Bechtle is creating new charging infrastructure for its electric fleet. The Bechtle Group will count some 300 charging points at the end of the year.

Sustainability Strategy 2030.

With the Sustainability Strategy, Bechtle defined which goals are to be pursued in the company  from an ecological, economic and social point of view. It refers to the UN Sustainable Development Goals—SDGs—and comprises four strategic fields of action that are particularly relevant for Bechtle: Ethical business practices, environment, people, and digital future. Each field of action is backed by a programme that includes goals, milestones and operational measures.
